Nano-liner: a new era asphalt plant
Ukrainian researchers-engineers of the West-East Group have proposed a new solution in the technology of production of materials for the construction of road surfaces. In the course of laboratory research, new products were obtained – Nano-concrete® (sulfur concrete) and Nano-asphalt® (sulfur-asphalt), which became the impetus for creating a new generation of mobile asphalt-concrete plant.
The main concept for the production of nano-asphalt is based on its manufacture by modifying a sulfur binder. The mixture is produced at the molecular level thanks to ultrasonic wave technology. The finished material has a number of advantages:
- Environmental friendliness.
- Wear resistance.
- Possibility of reuse after recycling.
Laying roads from this material does not require a lot of time and special weather conditions. The simplicity of repair and reconstruction of such roads also attracts.
According to experts, the production of sulfur asphalt and sulfur concrete does not require any sophisticated equipment and revolutionary technologies. In addition, all the technical equipment that is used for laying bituminous asphalt in Ukraine is quite suitable for nano-concrete. By slightly modernizing one module, changing another, it is already possible to have a simple roadmap for launching a technology for the production of economical and environmentally friendly sulfur asphalt on an industrial scale. All economic investments for the modernization of existing production facilities will pay off within 1-2 years on average.
The development engineers of the West-East Group were able to design a mobile nano-liner asphalt plant that can be moved by road. This allows the equipment to be relocated to the exact area where road construction work is currently being carried out. You can install a mobile asphalt concrete plant as close as possible to the work site.
The West-East Group is ready to cooperate with asphalt and concrete plants in Ukraine for the benefit of the bright future of our country and planet!
